Nice and quiet. Not sure if "quaint" is the right word... Owners are very welcoming. Room is clean, VERY comfortable bed, powerful shower and a great breakfast. Why pay double at a big name chain, for a generic breakfast and a room half the size? I have no complaints.
Just spent 2 nights in this delightful b&b Hosts Tina and Mick are lovely down to earth people and made us feel very welcome . The room was very clean and comfortable bed . Piping hot full English for breakfast .. with a real sausage . Close to town. Would recommend.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay, Tina and Mick were so wonderful and help. They went above and beyond in giving us help and advice about our stay and made our first time to Skegness exceptional. I loved the homely decor and feel about the hotel, it truly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was fantastic and I've already recommended The Sandgate to my family and friends. Where do we start with this guest house well ive stopped in some bad ones and this is very very different its unbelievable so clean met tina at the door so friendly room so clean bathroom and toilets so clean if I had to recommend somewhere to stop this is number 1 will definitely stop here again
We came across this guest house while searching for somewhere central and this was the perfect location with a 2 min walk to the beach and clock tower then also central 2 mins walk to the shopping malls too. Very easy to find with parking available on the grounds . The beds were very comfy and the rooms were well equipped with tea coffee,glasses even as far as a tea towel and sponge to wash up if needed. The host's were fantastic very friendly and knowledgeable if you wanted to know anything about the area or local amenities . They also cooked up a fabulous breakfast each morning. We will definitely go back again x
What a lovely guest house. Very comfortable and very welcoming owners. Everything was spot on , no complaints at all. Also very central and close to everything, no need to drive. Delicious breakfast is being served as well to fuel you up for the day. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. They made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Will definitely recommend .
